What SOS101 is
SOS101 is a community notification tool. It is not emergency services. We help deliver alerts to phones registered in a street or estate — we do not guarantee response or arrival.
Data we collect
- Sign-in: phone number, email, or OAuth identifiers (Google / Apple) to authenticate you.
- Household: name, street description, landmark notes, house and street photos.
- Device: push notification tokens so alerts can reach your phone.
- Alerts: SOS events, responses, and optional follow-up text within your community.
Who can see your data
Household photos and alert details are visible to verified members of your community only. Phone numbers are shown to community admins and household heads for management — not to every neighbour. Communities are isolated from each other.
Retention
Alert history is kept for operational use (typically up to 12 months) then deleted or exported per community policy.
Delete your account
In the SOS101 app, open Setup → Account → Delete account. We remove your sign-in methods, push tokens, and street/household memberships, and clear your phone and email from the account. If you are the only head of a house that still has family, or the last street admin, transfer headship or promote another admin first.
We do not sell your data
We use processors (hosting, SMS, email, push, photo storage, payments) only to run the service.
